Accessible Housing

The CDA has some accessible housing units available through the CDA's rental housing programs. For more information about these programs and how to apply, click on the links below.

Family Townhome Program
The Family Townhome Program provides low- and moderate-income families with affordable rental housing. Current rents are $555 for a one-bedroom accessible unit and $605-$625 for an accessible two-bedroom unit. Accessible units are available at all of the CDA's townhome developments.

Senior Housing Program
The Senior Housing Program is designed for persons age 55 and older. The CDA has 1,016 units of affordable senior housing in 21 different buildings located throughout Dakota County. Rents range from $358-$659 for a one-bedroom unit and $527-$833 for a two-bedroom unit. Accessible units are available at all of the CDA's senior housing developments.

Scattered Site Public Housing Program
The Scattered Site Public Housing Program provides affordable housing to families with low- and moderate-incomes. The CDA owns and manages 242 single family homes, duplexes, fourplexes and townhomes located throughout Dakota County. Residents of scattered site housing pay 30% of their income toward rent.

Colleen Loney Manor
Colleen Loney Manor is an 80-unit apartment building located in West St. Paul that is designated for low- to moderate-income who are 62 years of age and older, handicapped or disabled, near elderly (50+) or single persons. Residents of Colleen Loney Manor pay 30% of their income toward rent.

Dakota County Supportive Housing Unit (SHU)
The Dakota County Supportive Housing Unit helps families currently living in Dakota County secure housing and supportive services. Depending on the situation, emergency housing services/assistance may be available.
