Dakota County CDA is in the process of developing a new Consolidated Plan for the use of Community Development Block Grand (CDBG) Funds. Home Investment Partnership (HOME) Funds, and Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) Funds. This plan will cover the period of 2015-2019 and will identify the priorities for allocating these federal grant funds to residents' needs.
Dakota County CDA administers these funds on behalf of Dakota County. The CDA partners with the various communities though out Dakota County to provide funding for many programs and services offered to residents.
Part of building a strong Consolidated Plan is obtaining citizen and community input. Dakota County CDA is asking citizens, cities, nonprofits and businesses of Dakota County to rate specific priorities as it relates to broad project categories.
