The Dakota County CDA partners with a variety
of investors and lenders in order to develop affordable housing.
Over 15 public and private entities have invested in the CDA’s
housing portfolio since the 1980’s. The CDA values its relationship
with all its financial partners. An important part of each relationship
is the open access to information on the health of the CDA’s
operations and the operations of the individual property.

For the Dakota County First
Time Homebuyer Program, the CDA partners with area mortgage
lenders who assist homebuyers all the way through their loan closing.
Mortgage lenders must be eligible to participate in the program.
