Family Townhome Program
The Family Townhome Program is designed for moderate-income families with children under the age of 18 years. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements prior to becoming a resident of the program. This includes meeting program income guidelines, providing good landlord and credit references and passing a criminal history check.
Applications for the Family Townhome Program must be completed at the CDA's office located at 1228 Town Centre Drive, Eagan between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. weekdays. To accommodate those who are unable to apply during these hours, the CDA is open the third Wednesday of each month until 7 p.m.

Two-bedroom townhome - $630-$650
Three-bedroom townhome - $685-$705

Preference is given to families making between the minimum and preference income limits.

Applicants must also meet the following minimum income requirements:
1 bedroom applicants: $15,024
2 bedroom applicants: $16,968
3 bedroom applicants: $18,792
Preference is given to applicants who currently live, work, are hired to work or go to school full-time in Dakota County and whose incomes are between the minimum and preference income limits for the program.
Locations
To date, the CDA has constructed 19 family townhome developments
(597 units) located throughout Dakota County. An additional 26 units will be opening at Twin Ponds Townhomes in Farmington in summer 2012. Future developments are planned for Eagan, Farmington, Inver Grove Heights and Lakeville.
