2019 NAHRO Poster Contest: "What Home Means To Me"
The CDA is now collecting entries for 2019’s NAHRO “What Home Means to Me” Poster Contest. Youth (grades Kindergarten through 12th grade) residing in the CDA’s Workforce Housing Program, Scattered Site Public Housing Program, or are youth members of families assisted by the Housing Choice Voucher Program are eligible to participate in the contest.
Please find the complete entry information, rules and specifications, and application documents below:
These forms may be printed at home, or picked up at the CDA’s front desk during regular office hours. We also have poster board (in the required size) available if needed!
Entries will be judged by CDA staff and prizes will be given to the first, second, and third place winners in each age category. The CDA’s winning entries will be forwarded on to Minnesota NAHRO competition; winners from that round will be forwarded to a regional competition; and regional winners will go onto the National NAHRO competition in Washington, DC.
At the national level, the top twelve winners will receive a $100 VISA gift card, and their artwork will be showcased in 2019’s calendar. The grand prize winner will receive an iPad, as well as transportation and lodging for NAHRO’s Washington conference in DC, their artwork framed, and a tour of Capitol Hill for them and a family member.
We look forward to seeing what our local youth artists can create!
