Notice of Public Comment Period on Proposed Amendments to the Dakota County HOME Investment Partnership (HOME) Program Budget for Program Year 2019

The purpose of this Notice is to announce a 30-day public comment period that is currently open on proposed amendments to the Dakota County HOME Investment Partnership (HOME) Program Budget for Program Years 2019 and available, if any, program income.

Proposed amendment:

The Dakota County CDA is proposing to allocate approximately $290,000 of available HOME funds to Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity, Inc. for the purpose of rehabilitating nine single-family homes located at 990 Redwood Drive, Apple Valley; 15442 Drexel Way, Apple Valley; 14201 Diamond Path Court, Apple Valley; 1921 Walnut Street, Hastings; 3551 69th Street, Inver Grove Heights; 3650 77th Street, Inver Grove Heights; 2262 Apache Street, Mendota Heights; 157 E Butler Street, West St. Paul; and 195 Kathleen Drive, West St. Paul. When the single-family homes are completed and ready for occupancy, Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity will sell the homes to buyers meeting the eligibility criteria.

Upon request, this amendment will be available in an alternative format by contacting the Dakota County CDA. Approval of the amendment, subject to consideration of public comments, will be on the agenda of the Dakota County Board of Commissioners meeting to be held at the Dakota County Government Center, Administration Center, Boardroom (third floor), 1590 Highway 55, Hastings, MN 55033 on August 10, 2021 at 9:00 a.m.
